“The piano ain’t got no wrong notes” -Thelonious Monk
I’m back here in our studio in Chelsea, and as happy as I am to be in familiar environs with my partner Sebastian and all the Nash gents (and my wife Isha), I can’t help but reflect on the past few days and the beatific sounds from that ensemble cast at Pier 94. We ‘ain’t had no wrong notes’ in Freedom Hall.
At Alexander Nash we are thankful for the time spent showing our wares, meeting new creatives as well as industry folk, and in having made friends with a cavalcade of spirited people.
Knowing that what we are doing is part of a much greater, more meaningful whole has been the most valuable thing distilled from our experience at Freedom Hall, Liberty Fairs.
Thank you to all involved, and do pop by for a visit to our atelier and shop on west 27th up the way from FIT. Lastly, as much as it was an ensemble cast, we’d all be playing make-believe if extra kudos weren’t passed on to Ouigi, whose conducting/directing/MC’ing skills were a gift from Heaven!
